GenderOpen cooperates with numerous partners from the field of gender studies who represent and advance the idea of Open Access – including journal editors and archives, publishers, institutional and subject repositories as well as libraries, archives and documentation centres for women’s and gender studies.
GenderOpen is closely linked to the Open Gender Journal, but at the same time different from it: the Open Gender Journal is an Open Access journal for gender studies which publishes quality-assured research papers. Due to continuous publishing, it enables an accelerated and open publication process. Only academic articles that have undergone a double-blind peer review are published. The Open Gender Journal is therefore a place for first publications, while the GenderOpen repository primarily offers a place for secondary publications.
